Event Type : NARM-Training

This webinar aims to provide a brief overview and impression of NARM® (NeuroAffectiveRelationalModel) – a method for treating developmental trauma often associated with difficulties in relationships, affect regulation, and low self-esteem.

The basic orientation of the method will be outlined as well as the underlying theoretical approaches. You will also get a sense of what makes NARM different from other methods and why it makes the therapist’s work much easier and at the same time more effective in treating developmental trauma.

A model for working with complex trauma that integrates somatic psychotherapy, attachment theory, and contemporary neurobiological approaches. During this course, you will develop a profound understanding of how complex trauma impacts identity, behavior, and interpersonal relationships, and learn how to address these patterns without retraumatizing clients..

The training comprises 120 in-person hours, delivered over four five-day modules. It will be conducted in English with consecutive interpretation into Polish.

The training combines theoretical learning and practical application, including lectures, small group work, experiential exercises, and supervision. Participants will also have opportunities to attend live demonstration sessions conducted by the lead trainer, allowing them to observe practical applications of the NARM® model.

Six-month breaks between modules provide time for integration and personal practice. Between modules, participants can join online peer learning groups, supervision sessions, and access demonstration materials.

This training focuses on strengthening the therapist’s clinical competencies and supporting clients in releasing early survival strategies, guiding them toward a greater sense of connection, resilience, and vitality.

The NARM™ training program consists of four modules to be completed over a period of two years. Two modules will be delivered in each year of study.

Year I: 2 modules of 5 days each, 60 hours of training.
Year 2: 2 modules of 5 days each, 60 training hours.

Module 1: May 26–30, 2026

Module 2: November 24–28, 2026

Module 3: May 25–29, 2027

Module 4: November 23–27, 2027

Requirements

Completed training in a psychotherapeutic or body psychotherapeutic method and at least 2 years of practical experience with regular patient or client contact.

Certification

Requirements for certification: Completion of all 4 parts of the training plus 10 individual sessions and 10 supervised sessions with NARM-certified assistants.
